Mrs. Arthur Monteith, 76, RR 2 Stratford, died Saturday at Stratford General Hospital.  She was the former Ella Elizabeth Koch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Koch.  She was born in South Easthope Township, and had lived at lot 7, con. 8 in Downie Township for the past 56 years.  She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and the Hillcrest Women's Institute.

Surviving are her husband, whom she married in 1912; a son Allen, RR 1 St. Pauls; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Elva) Binkle, RR 2 Stratford; a brother John Koch, Tavistock; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Louise) Roth, 23 Milton St.; Mrs. Frank (Mayme) Brown, St. Marys; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Heinbuck funeral home, 156 Albert St., where service will be held today at 4:30 p.m.  Rev. Janes Ferguson of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church will officiate.  Burial will be in Avondale cemetery.
