Peacefully at her residence R.R. 3 Embro, on Thursday, August 23, 1990, Mary Elizabeth (Fraser) Monteith, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Edward A. Monteith. Loving father of Fraser Monteith and his wife Mary of R.R. 3 Embro, Gayle McCaul and husband Jim of Nova Scotia. Dear sister of Clarence Fraser of San Francisco, Lloyd Fraser of R.R. 1 Embro, Beatrice Knechtel and Grace Armstrong both of London. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter in infancy, 3 brothers Gordon, Alvin and Clifford and 2 sisters Pearl and Rena. Visitation was at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

The funeral service was held from Knox Presbyterian Church in Harrington on Monday, August 27, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. with interment in the church cemetery.
