Passed away suddenly at his home, R.R. 2, Thorndale on Tuesday, January 11, 1994, Harold A. McDonald in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy E. (Monteith) McDonald. Loving father of Janice Ball & husband Larry, London; William & Terese McDonald, Thorndale; Maureen Brand & husband Greg, London; Brendan & Marg McDonald, St. Marys. Loved by grandchildren Sandra, Steve, Scott, Dave, Carl, Dan Tiffany, Jaymie, Stacey & Clarke. Great-grandchildren Daniel & Gerald. Dear brother of Mary Hustler, Tillsonburg, Dorothy McVey, Stewart & Donald McDonald all of St. Marys. Predeceased by a brother F.O. William McDonald (1944) & a grandson Paul McDonald (1988), sister-in-law Elsie Fitzsimmons and bother-in-law Donald Monteith. Brother-in-law of Eddie Monteith, Harrington; Helen Herman, London; Gordon Monteith, Breslau; Mel & Karen Monteith, Jim & Marg Monteith, Oliverne Fuller all of Thorndale; Roy Monteith, Uniondale; Tonni Monteith, Vancouver.

The funeral service was held from the L.A. Ball Funeral Chapel (Ball & Sass Funeral Homes Ltd.) Water St. N., St. Marys on Friday, January 14, 1994 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed in the spring, in Vining's Cemetery.
