Peacefully at the Kingsway Lodge in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday, June 6, 1998; Helen A. M. (Monteith) Herman, formerly of London, in her 87th year. Loving mother of Beverly Bentum and the late Jim Bentum (1988) of Thorndale, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Donald & Karen Bentum; Kim & Tony Masseo all of Thorndale. Loving great-grandmother of Lee Bentum. Dear sister of Eddie Monteith of St. Marys, Gordon Monteith of Tavistock, Dorothy MacDonald & Oliverne Meldrum both of Thorndale, Roy Monteith of Uniondale and sisters-in-law Margaret Monteith of Thorndale, and Tonny Monteith of Vancouver, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Donald, Jim & Melbourne, a sister Elsie, brothers-in-law Ed Fitzsimmons, Harold MacDonald, and Charlie Fuller, sisters-in-law Mary, Marian, and Connie Monteith.

The funeral service was held from the L.A. Ball Funeral Chapel (Ball & Sass Ltd.) 7 Water St. N. at St. Marys on Tuesday, June 9, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in Vining Cemetery.
