Peacefully at the Iler Nursing Home in Essex Ontario surrounded by her family, on Thursday May 26, 2005 Margaret C. (Matheson) Monteith formerly of Thorndale was in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late James E. K. (Jim) Monteith (1994). Loving mother of the late Bruce Monteith (1962) and Ronald & his wife Maribel Monteith of South Woodslee. Proud grandmother of Scott and Yvonne Monteith, Kim Monteith, Shawn Monteith, Sherry and Mario Caruso, Shannon and Daniel Monteith. Great grandmother of Matthew, Corrie, Jamie and Simon. Dear sister of Bob and Betty Matheson of Embro. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Matheson of Embro, Eddie, Roy and Karen Monteith of St.Marys, Dorothy MacDonald and Oliverne Meldrum of Thorndale and Tonni Monteith of Vancouver, BC. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Annie Isobel Wood and a brother Donald Matheson, Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Russell Wood, Elsie and Ed Fitzsimmons, Melbourne, Gordon and Marion, Mary, Connie and Donald Monteith, Alfred and Helen Herman, Charles Fuller and Harold MacDonald. Resting at the L.A.Ball Funeral Chapel at 7 Water Street North, St. Marys, Ontario on Saturday May 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM family and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM with the funeral service being held on Monday May 29, 2005 at 1:30 PM.
