All members of the Monteith family are invited
to attend 'CEILIDH 2009', the 10th reunion of the 3rd millennium in Pinafore Park in
St.Thomas, Ontario, Canada. This event has been an annual
meeting place for Ontario Monteiths and related families for 84 years.
Please bring a dish for the Potluck Dinner as well as your own plates and cutlery.
Pizza as well as beverages will be provided .
Games will be conducted for children of all ages with prizes for the winners.
"CEILIDH 2009" promises to be a
special time! Come and see family members you haven't seen for a
while and meet some new ones! Because of the generosity of one of our
strong supporters, we are planning to continue to have a special program of Gaelic music for
your enjoyment as well as a demonstration of talent from various family
members. In that regard, if you have a particular talent that you could
contribute or know of another family member who could, please e-mail me at talentshow@monteith.org
with their name and special talent as well as their e-mail, telephone number or
address so the committee may get in touch regarding taking part.
Mark the date on your calendar and be sure to plan to be there! The
2008 reunion brought a total of nearly 200 family members. To continue make the
2009 edition the best
attended in years, please encourage even more family members to attend!
